Rudiments Teams

Castleknock College hosted the last invitational cross country of 2018. 76 Elements and Rudiments students competed over their respective distances. The Elements team were a strong 3rd place in a big field of 140 athletes. Matthew McEntee (Elements Xavier) in 7th and Conor O'Brien (Elements Kenney) in 9th were the standout performers.

Rudiments were also 3rd, but lost out on medals on tiebreak countback, based on our fourth scorer. Christopher Hamill (Rudiments Xavier) and Sam Gillick-Friel (Rudiments Scully) in 10th and 13th respectively, were the best performers at second year level.

Attention turns to after Christmas when the first round of championship cross country takes place at the West Leinster Championships in January.
