Belvedere College - Change of Hands

Change of Hands

Change of Hands

The Home Economics Department is sad to say goodbye to Ms. Susan McNamara, the driving force behind the introduction of Home Economics to Belvedere College. The students and staff alike were disappointed not to see her friendly and welcoming face around the campus this September. Ms. McNamara has returned to her native Co. Meath and is enjoying her new role in Boyne Community School. We will miss her dearly and hope that she will pop in for a visit when settled into her new career.

On the other hand the Home Economics department is delighted to welcome our newest member of staff Ms. Tracy McDonagh. Ms. McDonagh is a Home Economics Teacher with Ballymaloe training. We are looking forward to some of the tips and advice Ms. McDonagh will bring to the table! Her experience of working with celebrity Chefs, Darina and Rachel Allen as well as her food blog ‘Pound of Butter’ http://poundofbutter.blogspot.ie/ will be sure to enhance the Home Economics Department even further.
