Three transition year students who are completing the Young Entrepreneur module as part of their TY activities on a Tuesday recently won the Dublin City Enterprise 'Student Enterprise Awards'. This was the first year the college entered the awards and it was a fantastic achievement for the three students; Cathal Sweeney, Cian Weldon and Conor Feeney to win the most prestigious prize on the day - 1st place in senior category. The boys company Airlift Technologies have designed 'pro grips' which are to be used during the line outs in rugby. The company is currently selling to rugby clubs throughout Ireland and to date have made several sales with more in the pipeline. In addition on the 18th of April they go forward to the National Finals to represent Dublin City Enterprise Awards. The finals will be held in Croke Park and the boys will be competing with businesses from schools throughout Ireland.
