Business Studies
Overview
Business Studies is composed of Accounting, Business and Economics at Senior Cycle and Business Studies at Junior Cycle.
Our objective would be to give our students a comprehensive knowledge of the world of business. We would see it as our goal to equip the students with this knowledge and also with sensitivity to the social context of business and economics regarding the management and distribution of wealth.

Members of the Department teach Business Studies to Junior Cycle and then specialise for Leaving Certificate as below:
- Clodagh Culligan, Niamh Tobin and Caoimhe McCormack teach Accounting.
- Jim Dempsey, Helen Stack and Sinead McGouran teach Business.
- Norma Shanahan and Sinead McGouran teach Economics.
